Obituary of Calder B. Pitter
Calder B. Pitter, 65, of Jersey City, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 14, 2023. Born in June 1958, in Jamaica, he came to the United Stares in 1981, seeking new opportunities.
Calder, a dedicated family man, was a quiet and conservative individual with a love for soccer. Known for his actions more than his words, he spent many years as a chemical mixer for Holland Manufacturing Company in Succasunna, NJ.
Predeceased by his mother, Louise Duffus; and sister, Vivienne Black; Calder is survived by his wife, Deniese Pitter; his son, Brett Pitter; his sister, Meloney; and brothers, Clive and John. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
