Obituary of Paul John Debold
Paul John Debold, 81, of Pine Brook, NJ, passed away after a short illness on August 25, 2023.
Born in February 1942 to Paul Otto and Johanna (Perthel) Debold, Paul graduated from St. Michael’s High School in Newark and then joined the U.S. Army. Once he came home from the service, he made his lifelong home in Pine Brook.
Paul worked in various factories during his work career, helping to manufacture many different products over the years. He was crazy about fishing - he knew everything there was to know about trout. Paul spent his downtime at the Russell Brook Campsites in Roscoe, NY – known as Trout Town USA. There he had a tightknit group of friends that he looked forward to spending time with.
Paul is survived by his aunt, Lee Wallis; his sister-in-law, Irene Debold; his niece, Kimberly Savarese and her husband, Michael; his great niece, Courtney, his great nephews, Lucas and Anthony; his cousins and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, and his brother, Robert Debold.
