Barbara is enjoying God's peace after her long struggle. She and I had a wonderful and caring friendship that spanned 35 years. The journey we shared during that time involved us with the changing trends in education. So we went annually to the teachers' convention in Atlantic City to acquire the materials needed to keep up with those trends for the benefit of our students. We also had a good time! One special event that Barbara loved with the annual spaghetti and meatball dinner held at Camp Auxilium in Newton. It was a fundraising event for the school that served so many children so well. And Barbara supported it generously. Then there were the trips to the shore in the summer that always lifted our spirits after a long year of school. And of course there was the golf. Her enthusiasm for it was catching and she patiently and generously endured my novice attempts to play. She gave me plenty of good pointers. And whenever she spoke of her granchildren her eyes glistened with happiness. Barbara, you left behind a better world because you shared your love and kindness with so many. I'll hold the memory of you gentle spiritand smile. Until we meet again.

You will always hold a special place in my heart Barb. I am happy to say that I have such great memories of you, Cathy and me going to American Women and then going out to dinner. Cathy and I meeting you at the club and we would play tennis and swim while you were playing golf. Recently, we were in Cape May with you and no matter what, you had that smile on your face, even when we were caught in the rain and Kendall was running with you in the chair. We laughed for days about that. I am so happy you are finally at rest, we now have to move on with you in our hearts. God Bless and may you rest in peace FINALLY......
