MOUNTAIN LAKES---Madeline M. Jacob died Monday, August 1, 2011 at Morristown Medical Center following a brief illness. She was 79.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, she lived in Upper Montclair for 8 years before moving to Mountain Lakes in 1968.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Edwin O. Jacob; a son, Nelson O. Jacob; two daughters, Nancy L. Jacob and Lynn M. Griffin and six grandchildren.
Her interment will be private for family.
Memorial services will be held at a later date at King of Kings Lutheran Church, Mountain Lakes and will be announced by the family.
Memorial contributions in Madeline's name may be made to either Camp MA-HE-TU, Lutheran Girls' Camp Association, 6 Soundview Drive North, Huntington, NY 11743 or to the charity of your choice.
