Obituary of Reiner M. Pabst

Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather

Reiner M. Pabst, 66 of Boonton Twp, passed away suddenly October 22, 2021.
Reiner was born in Jersey City, NJ to Herbert and Rosemarie (Birner) Pabst. He
graduated from Montville High School and went on to a career in the construction
industry as a mason. Reiner worked for Affiliated Management Inc. of Livingston
and was formerly a union bricklayer with BAC Local 4 in Fairfield after running his
own masonry business for years.

Reiner met his wife, Kim in high school and they were married for 45 years, raising
their two children, Jenna and Reiner. He loved to golf and spend time in the
wilderness, hunting and fishing. Reiner’s real passion was his family. He loved to
spend time with them all, especially his grandchildren.

Predeceased by his parents and his nephew, Hans Pabst; Reiner is survived by his
beloved wife, Kim (Sanok); his daughter, Jenna and her husband, Steven Geraghty
of Mountain Lakes; his son, Reiner and his fiancée, Hannah Blecker of Denville; his
grandchildren, Quinn, Connor and Samuel Geraghty; his brother, Herbert E. Pabst;
his sister-in-law, Michele Sanok; his niece, Carrie Pfister; his nephews, Michael
and Matthew Pabst; as well as many relatives and friends.

To celebrate Reiner’s life, visitation will be Wednesday, October 27th from 5:00 -
8:00pm and Thursday, October 28th from 10:00-11:00am, with a Prayer Service at
11:00am at Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Ave, Boonton. Interment
will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Reiner’s memory to the Market Street Mission.
