Obituary of Johanna Solch
Johanna (Joanne) Solch of Denville passed away peacefully on February 13, 2021. She was born in Clifton, NJ in 1922 to John and Willemina (Hermsen) Meyer, who had immigrated to the United States from the Netherlands. She worked in sales and the retail industry.
Joanne had a full and vibrant life. She married Francis (Frank) Solch and had two sons. Her family came first and she spent many happy hours with them over the years. Joanne’s religion was kindness which she extended to everyone she came in contact with.
Joanne was predeceased by her beloved husband and her son, Kenneth. She is survived by her son Richard, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many extended family members. She will be greatly missed.
Services were private and provided by Codey & Mackey Funeral Home of Boonton. A celebration of life will be planned in the future when it is safe to gather.
