Obituary of Kimberly Macrina
1/07/1965 - 7/22/2020
Our hearts mourn the sudden loss of Kimberly Macrina, a beautiful soul lost entirely too soon. After spending her life in New Jersey, Kim passed away in New Port Richey, Florida on July 22, 2020. Kim is survived by her sons John Tufaro and Anthony Macrina; mother, Kathleen Sunbury; grandfather, John Scapicchio; and her brother and his wife, Joe and Tracy Nanartowicz. In addition, Kim leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her cherished dog, Gemma.
With a true heart of gold, Kim loved nothing more than supporting her family and friends no matter what the circumstance. The warmth she radiated epitomized her devotion as a mother to John and Anthony. Known for her fabulous quiche, homemade penne vodka, and chicken pot pies, Kim was an amazing cook who genuinely enjoyed having her family sit around the table together for a meal. Her work ethic was undeniable. She loved her pets with all her heart, could chat all day, and brought color to the world. The always essential “bling” went hand-in-hand with her personality as a way of bringing sparkle to life. Having a contagious smile and chuckle that could be heard across the room, she was a positive spirit filled with continuous love and joy. As a mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin, niece, aunt, and a great friend…Kim will be missed every day.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 29th at 11:00 a.m, located at Hillside Cemetery in Fairfield, NJ. All are invited to celebrate her life. Please wear a mask.
