I was just talking about Bob and Dorothy. My husband said I should see if I could find any of the Greene family. My mother Betty Edmonds was friends with both of them. We lived across the street for year or two. I remember Dorothy because she seemed glamorous to my five year old self. Somewhere I have photos of me, my sister Michelle, Karen Siminski and Bridget playing together. Why were we talking about your family? Because since I was a kid my mother made Bob Greene’s secret sauce for grilling steak. I still make it almost 60 years later. I even used it in a restaurant I worked in, always giving credit to Bob.We had it tonight as a matter of fact. I am sorry for your loss but pleased I found your mother’s obituary. Life goes full circle. All the best, Elizabeth (Beth) Edmonds Krall.

Dorothy was our bohemian fun neighbor who encouraged play and creativity with her children and her neighbor’s kids too. We also did puppet/muppet shows and enjoyed her bright modern art all around her home. Fondly recall the 3-adjoining property snow sledding trails around their home in ML. Annually on St Patrick’s day her husband Bob would be shown off with his beard dyed green. Proud of football captain Patrick and Cheerleading Bridget. Will always remember sharing our large peacock wicker chair in both homes-almost a throne and as a beautiful subject in paintings.
