Sylvia Dye, 91 of Randolph, NJ, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2019. Born and raised in Manhattan, to Luigi and Anna (Sisti) Maiorino, Sylvia met her husband James while working as an administrative assistant in the same office. The couple later wed in 1961, later moved to Manchester, CT in 1970, prior to moving to Randolph, NJ in 1975 where they have lived ever since. In her spare time, Sylvia enjoyed playing cards, especially solitaire and progressive rummy. She loved to cook and eat good food. Most of all, she loved her family. Sylvia is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, James A. Dye, and her son James A. Dye, of Randolph, NJ.and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sylvia was the youngest of nine children and was predeceased by all of her siblings. A visitation will be held from 10AM-12PM on Friday June 21 at Codey-Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Ave, Boonton,NJ. Followed by a graveside service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in 225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to in Mrs. Dye's name to American Cancer Society, 7 Ridgedale Ave, Cedar Knolls, NJ 07927
