Emma J. Henderson, 81, of Montville, NJ, formerly of Paterson, NJ, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2016.
Born and raised in Paterson, NJ, Emma was the daughter of the William Henderson Catherine Vreeland.
Emma was a selector for 32 years at the Manhattan Shirt Company in Paterson before retiring in 1995. She was a member of the Montville Reformed Church.
Surviving are her sisters, Anna Norman of Little Falls, NJ and Virginia Cook of Montville, NJ; a brother-in-law, Thomas Van Riper; also three nephews and two nieces. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brothers, William and Roy; and a sister, Catherine Van Riper.
Visitation will be held in the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Avenue, Boonton, NJ 07005 on Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 6-8pm. A Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 10:00am. The interment will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa, NJ.
