Obituary of Audrey A. Glass

Audrey A. Glass, 83, of Denville, NJ, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 24, 2015. Born in Boonton, NJ, she was the daughter of John and Ruth Babbitt. Audrey was raised in Boonton and lived in Denville since 1965. She graduated from Zion Bible Institute in Rhode Island with a bachelor degree in Christian Education. Mrs. Glass was a teacher's aide for many years with the Denville Public Schools. She was a devout Christian and a founding member of the Rockaway Assembly of God Church. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard in 2004 and her brother Walter Babbitt, Sr. in 2010. Surviving are her devoted daughters with their husbands, Michelle and LeRoy Snyder, Darlene and Terry Hurd and Deborah Lee and Russell Treier; a loving sister, Shirley Young; cherished grandchildren, Melody and Colton Nyegaard, Ricky Snyder, Philip Treier and Kay-Lee Treier. Relatives and friends may visit with the family at the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Avenue, Boonton, NJ 07005 on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 5-8 pm. Services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 10:00 am. The interment will follow at Rockaway Valley Cemetery in Boonton Twp., NJ.
