Lucia Russo Loved By Her Family Lucia Russo (nee Trombetta), of Towaco, NJ, formerly of Jersey City, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 with her family by her side. Born in Piano - di Sorrento, Italy to her parents, Antonio and Teresa Trombetta, Lucia came to America and lived in Jersey City before moving to Towaco in 1997. Surviving are her beloved husband of 54 years, Aniello Russo, Sr.; devoted children, Gaetano, Sr., Antonio, Sr. (Christine), Christina Petrosino (Simone) and Aniello, Jr. (Doreen); loving sisters, Maria Gisondi, Josephine Pierro and Marta Pane; cherished grandchildren, Stephanie, Gaetano, Jr., Alexandra, Dante, Briana, Aniello III, Nicholas, Antonina, Antonio Jr., Dominic and a great granddaughter, Enza; also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Antonio, mother, Teresa, brother, John Trombetta and sister, Guistine Coppola. Relatives and friends may visit with the family at the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Avenue, Boonton, NJ 07005 (973-334-5252) on Thursday, March 12th (today) from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Pius R.C. Church, 24 Changebridge Road, Montville, NJ 07045 on Friday, March 13th at 10:00am.
