Norman Potter, 82 of Oak Ridge passed away on October 24, 2014 at Morristown Medical Center.
Born in Paterson, Norman was raised in Parsippany before moving to Oak Ridge in 1965. He was a machinist for Marrotta Scientific in Montville for 48 years before retiring in 2000. He was also an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Norman was predeceased by his beloved wife Phyllis (nee Carman). Loving father of Ken Potter and his partner Linda, and Mark Potter. He is also survived by his grandchildren Sarah, Jesse and Amber.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Avenue, Boonton, NJ on Wednesday, October 29th from 2-4 & 7- 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home Thursday, October 30th at 11:00 am. The interment will follow at Rockaway Valley Cemetery.
