Alberta Charlotte Moriczdetecso
Alberta C. Moriczdetescso (Elson), 73, of Highland Lakes, NJ, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Morristown Medical Center.
Allie was born in Barrie, Ontario, Canada and lived in Hewitt, Pompton Lakes and Kinnelon before moving to Highland Lakes in 2008.
She was a devout member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Boonton for over 40 years, where she was a Warden, Choir Member and active member. She also volunteered with the Girl Scouts of America and leader of the Backpack Interest Group.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ian in 1993. Surviving are her devoted children, Keith J. and his girlfriend, Amelia and Cynthia and her fianc, Dave; a cherished grandson, Scott; and loving brothers Jim, Robert and Doug Elson.
Family and friends will gather at St. John's Episcopal Church, 226 Cornelia Street, Boonton, NJ 07005 for a memorial visitation on Sunday, October 5, 2014 from 2 - 4 pm. A Funeral Mass will follow at 4:00 pm in the Sanctuary. Arrangements in care of the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home of Boonton.
