Obituary of Phyllis J. Stringham

Phyllis J. Stringham (Mini), of Boonton, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 after a long illness. She was 81 years old. Phyllis was born in Brooklyn, NY to her parents Vincent and Philomena Mini and was one of ten children. She moved to Boonton in 1952 where she raised her family. Mrs. Stringham was an assembler with Aircraft Radio and Johanson Manufacturing of Boonton. A devout Catholic, she was member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Boonton. She was predeceased by her parents; a son, Frederick; a granddaughter, Tricia DePinto; brothers Vincent and Dominick Mini; sisters, Desirae D'Esposito and Justine Barberio; a niece Desirae Bell and nephews, Phillip Mini and Gregory Barberio. Surviving are her daughter, Jane Lawrence; sisters Angela Hamilton and Carol Perkins; brothers Anthony Mini, Gary Mini and Eugene Mini and his wife, Ann; grandchildren Dennis and Michael Biernat, Deanna Woelk, Anthony Lawrence, Freddie Stringham and Denielle Eaker; great grandchildren, Nicholas, Andrea, Alyssa, Alex, Joseph, Morgan, Ricky and Toni; also many nieces and nephews. Visiting will be held prior to the funeral at the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Avenue, Boonton on Saturday from 9:30 - 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 910 Birch Street, Boonton on Saturday, June 28th at 11:00 am. The interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Boonton.
