Obituary of Charles Behnke

Charles R. Behnke, Jr. "Chuck", of Bloomingdale, NJ, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2014 at Chilton Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He was 55 years old. Chuck was born in Pequannock, raised in Lincoln Park and lived in Boonton before moving to Bloomingdale 16 years ago. He was a dedicated volunteer fireman for 25 years serving the communities of Boonton and Bloomingdale. Mr. Behnke was a logistics manager with Salem Steel in Paramus, NJ. Surviving are his beloved wife, Kris (Montalbano); devoted daughter Jessica Behnke: dear step-son Joseph Infantolino; a dear friend Sally Fane and her son, Josh Fane; a loving sister Cynthia Osborne and her husband, Kevin; also many aunts, uncles, cousins, firemen and friends. Chuck was predeceased by his parents Charles and Betty Behnke and his sister Mary Linda. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Ave., Boonton, NJ on Thursday, June 5 from 4 - 8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mt.
