Thank you to everyone sharing their thoughts and memories of my father. Today 10-8 is mom & dad’s wedding anniversary. I know my brother and I both miss them very much. I felt like a part of me was gone when they left us. As the years go by, when I think of them I can still feel their love. I am grateful for that. I love u both. How lucky I am to be your son.

I knew Mr. Yanni well during my years at Wayne Valley High School. It was a pleasure getting to know him and working with him on various special projects, (e.g., the Inter High School Literary Conference, upgrading the computer mainframe, developing the new interactive college guidance system, engaging in Mensa, and much more). He was always supportive and encouraging. Mr. Yanni will live on in the countless lives he touched and in all of the positive memories we carry forward.

My condolences to Mrs Yanni and the Yanni Family.
Mr Yanni was Vice Principle at Schuyler Colfax Junior High School in Wayne when I attended in the early 1960's. During those years I remember him as a very nice and fair person.

I have known Dr. Richard and his wife Jean through Dr. Paul Rossey in Seabrook village.
Dr. Richard was very nice person and so his wife Jean that everytime I saw them walking in the hallway I could not resist of giving them both a hugs and a kisses. They were very sweet couple, always smiling. Now he's gone but that sweet loving smile still remains in my mind everytime I walk in that hallway. You have gone too soon Dr. Rich.

Rest in peace, dear cousin. I'm so glad that we were able to spend time together here at Seabrook. You always made my day! It was so cute the way you worried about me when it was I who worried about you and Jean. I'm grateful for the good times we shared. Please say hello to Ray for me.
Love,
Judy

It was my great fortune to have Uncle Dick as a close caring person who was always willing to help and guide me. His life was devoted to his wife Jean, his sons Rich and Brian and everyone within the family. What can't be discounted are the hundreds of children he helped as an educator. When the word Renaissance Man was created, they must have used Uncle Dick as the model for that. May he rest in God's hands for eternity.

Heaven has gained an angel. Mr. Yanni was a kind and loving man. He was always so affectionate towards his wife, Jean. Dick was like a 2nd grandfather to me. I remember whenever I would go to my grandmothers house I would always have to visit Dick and Jean! Please accept my deepest condolences to his family during this difficult time. Mr. Yanni will always hold a special place in my heart.

I was blessed to have Uncle Dick in my life - he was a wonderful role model and was like a 3rd grandfather to me. I have so many wonderful childhood memories with him and as an adult, I cherished our phone calls and visits. He will be greatly missed!

God and my guardian angel were watching over me when "Dick" became my father in law in 1981. I have been truly blessed to have had "Dad" in my life for the past 35 years. He touched so many lives with his generous, caring, loving heart. Give my mother a hug from me when you see her in heaven! Love, Pam

We have the most fond memories of Mr. Yanni. Our friendship goes way back to the late 70s. You will never meet a more devoted husband. The way he took care of his wife, made one speechless. Rest in peace Mr. Yanni, heaven gained a new angel.
