I was friends with Marilyn and with Laird way back when they were involved with Irish Setters. The dogs were a very important part of her life. So sorry to see that she is gone.

I was very sorry to hear of Marilyn's passing. I played horseshoes with her at Rock Ridge for many years. She was a wonderful person.

Amy, Todd, Jenny, Kim, Kris, Emma and Kate: We are so sorry for your loss. Marilyn's journey through the life that was given her was filled with kindness and meaning. She adored her family, was a devoted and loving friend to many, a great neighbor and consummate community volunteer. We have so many wonderful memories of our good friend of over 40 years and we too shall miss her greatly. Know that one day you will indeed see her again and, until that time, may God hold her in the palm of His hand.

Cannot think of Rock Ridge without remembering all the days when our children were little and we shared the beach with your Mom. Will miss seeing her from time to time out and about. Take care of yourselves. Peace from the Peterson Family

My love and prayers go out to all the family. I was so fortunate to work with Marilyn and Laird on the 2000 Terhune Reunion. We were able to get together many times in the years after. Thank you for the e-mail Amy.

I will always remember what fun we had living on East Glen and the things we did, like riding around in the spring looking for treasures, the many cups of tea we shared and our many conversations by phone. I will always treasure those memories!
Thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

My Vail Road apartment is across from a cemetary. Marilyn visited me and asked if I ever go there for a walk.
I told her I absolutely did.
She then asked me when I go the next time would I say Hello to Laird because that was his final resting place. May God Bless Marilyn and Laird together again. I will miss her humor, strength
and loving nature. I will
remember her as I walk each day by her final resting place
I will be sure to say also Hello Marilyn. With Love & Prayers to all her family.
