Korean War Veteran
Hubert "Bud" Froumy, 83, of Hackettstown, NJ, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 15, 2014.

Hubert was born in Newark, NJ and lived in Boonton, NJ before moving to Hackettstown in 1998. He was a Veteran of the Korean War and a recipient of the Purple Heart, proudly serving in the US Army.
He worked for many years with NJ Bell Telephone Co. After retiring he continued to do electrical work and phone installations locally.
A staunch conservative he was an active member of the Tea Party Movement and loved his country dearly. He was proud of his Irish Heritage.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Joan (O'Rourke); devoted daughters, Debra Becker, Cathy Hedden and Carolyn Fischer; also 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; a brother John; and cherished dog Logan. He was predeceased by his brother Richard.
Donations given in his honor to the Wounded Warrior Project ( www.woundedwarriorproject.org), would be appreciated.
