Obituary of Jane V. Murphy

Jane V Murphy, of Denville, NJ, formerly of Montville, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2014, after a short illness. She was 89. She was born October 10, 1924 in East Orange, New Jersey to Chester W and Dorothea D Vanderbilt. She was employed by the then New Jersey Bell Telephone Company for 32 years, retiring in 1984 as a District Staff Manager. Her career was varied and included some years at AT&T headquarters. She was married in 1946 to Charles E (Jim) Landers, who passed in 1974. She is survived by husband, Richard H Murphy, 2 daughters, Marilynn L Schmesser and Nancy L Brink, 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandsons.
