Obituary of Sheree Monetti

Sheree Monetti (nee Kelly), of Montville, NJ, passed away at home on Monday, October 21, 2013, after a courageous year fighting lung cancer. Relatives and friends will gather to celebrate her beautiful life at St. Pius X R.C. Church, 24 Changebridge Road, Montville, NJ 07045 on Saturday, October 26, 2013 where at 9:30 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered. Visitation will be held in the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Avenue, Boonton, NJ 07005, on Friday, October 25th from 2-4 and 6-9 PM. Sheree was born in Livingston, NJ and raised in Fairfield, NJ. She graduated from West Essex High School in 1988. Sheree married her knight in shining armor, Joseph R. Monetti, on July 11, 1993 when they moved to Montville and together have raised their beautiful family. Mrs. Monetti was the office manager at her family's business prior to the birth of her children. Sheree dedicated every waking moment to her family, "she was born to be a mom, her children were everything to her." She was a Class Mom for their nursery through grade schools; a Brownie Leader, Girl Scout Leader and Cookie Mom for the Montville Girl Scouts; Hilldale PTC President for 2 years and Team Mom for her sons travel baseball teams. She is survived by her beloved husband of 20 years, Joseph R. Monetti; cherished children Nicole, Michael and Anthony; parents Dennis and Elaine Kelly; brothers Gene (Madeline) Kelly and Michael Kelly; sisters Bonnie (Patrick) Lynch, Tammy (Michael) Fonzio and Elaine (John) Broe; devoted mother-in-law Florence and the late Michael J. Monetti; dear grandmother-in-law Anne Masino; sister-in-law Michele (Robert) De Luccia; nieces and nephews Robert, Jenna, Lauren and Gregory De Luccia; many other nieces and nephews; also many friends who were her extended family.
