Obituary of Andrew John Rexroth

Andrew John Rexroth, of Montville, NJ, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, NJ. He was 78 years old. Andrew was born in Jersey City, NJ, raised in Boonton and lived most of his life in Montville. Mr. Rexroth graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Moravian College , PA. He was a high school teacher for 25 years with the Montville Twp. Board of Eduction. Most especially, Andy was a musician. He was a upright and electric bass player who played in numerous jazz bands in the state. He is survived by his devoted children, Kristi Rexroth and Geoffrey Rexroth; loving grandchildren Kayla, Justin and Alexander; cherished great grandchildren Nikolas and Emma; a dear sister Marjorie Tindall; also 3 nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Andrew in 2008. A Memorial Servic e will be held at the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Avenue, Boonton, NJ on Thursday, October 10 at 6:00 PM.
