Obituary of Donald Skidmore Boyd

Donald Skidmore Boyd, of Palm Springs, CA, formerly of Boonton, NJ, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2013. Relatives and friends may visit with the family at the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Ave., Boonton, NJ on Sunday, Sept., 15th from 2 - 5 PM. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, Sept., 16th at Noon. The interment will follow at the Rockaway Valley Cemetery, Boonton Twp., NJ. He proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. The past 3 years he has resided in California. Mr. Boyd retired as the Director of Sales & Marketing with Lake Arrowhead Resort. He was predeceased by his wife Bernadette "Bonnie" (Lofstedt) in 2002. Surviving are his children Joshua S. Boyd, with his wife Michelle, of Arlington, TX and Katelyn Morgan, with her husband Tim, of Albany, Oregon; a sister Cindy Rossi of NY; also 4 grandchildren.
