MY DAD... What can I say to express my love for you. You were always there to teach wheter I was a good boy or, at times, bad. It was always you to teach me the right way. Without a fingt just your loving way, and that look. The look could either lift you up or let you know you had done something stupid.
You remain the best man I have ever known. I love you dearly and miss you almost more than I can bear.
Your loving son. Tom

Grandpa, you will be greatly missed by all who knew you. You were an amazing, devoted and generous man who brightened the lives of so many people. I remember the trips we took to Port Allegheny together when I was just a kid.... Everywhere you went, people remembered and recognized you. You were an amazing person. I love you. Our family has so many wonderful memories of Basil. To say that we miss him cannot begin to describe what we feel. We love him for his intelligence, his humor, his kind heart... his ability to share the joy that he felt each day with all of us. His devotion to Jane, family, friends and country was exceptional. We are deeply saddened by his passing but understand that he has different mission now.
Never one to miss a new job opportunity, he is busy reuniting with loved ones and watching over all of us until we are together again. It was our privilege to have been his friend.
Our thoughts are with you all.

Good-bye to my last uncle. I never knew you really well because you always lived far away from us. Most of my memories of you involve either July 4th celebrations or Family Reunions. There are also memories of the vacation we spent at Lake Wallenpaupac. I remember the chicken barbeques and the fireworks and the annual Christmas cards, sometimes with a special note. I remember getting information for our Family Tree and help in identifying people in old photographs. I remember many emails asking about your youngest brother and your concern for him. All of those emails meant a lot to me.I think what you did, Uncle Basil, that meant the very most to me was that you made the trip from Boonton to Port Allegany, with the threat of severe snow storms, for my dad's viewing and then went right back home because you had another commitment on the day of his funeral. You will be missed.
