BOONTON---Lorraine J. Forsythe died Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Bay State Franklin Medical Center, Greenfield, Massachusetts following a brief illness. She was 84.
Born in Boonton, she lived there most of her life before moving to Greenfield one year ago.
Ms. Forsythe was an assembler at the Boonton Handbag Co. for 25 years, then worked as an assembly worker at Boonton Electronics Corp., Parsippany for 2 years before retiring in 1990.
Her sister, Mildred F. Stiles, died in June of this year.
She is survived by a brother, Clarence Forsythe of Boonton Township; two nieces, Claudia Delezenski and Barbara Weatherford; three nephews, William Stiles, James Forsythe and Clifford Forsythe and several great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 16th at 11:00 A.M. at the Mackey Funeral Home ( www.mackeyfh.com), 107 Essex Ave., Boonton with interment to follow at the Montville Reformed Church Cemetery, Montville. Friends may call on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions in Lorraine's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater NJ Chapter, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
