Geraldine T. Beisley (nee Oberst) died on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Morris View Nursing Home following a brief illness. She was 82. Born in Irvington she was a long time resident of Rockaway before moving to Morris Township in 2008. She was a saleswoman for Duo Stat in Rockaway before retiring in 1993. Her husband Richard J. Beisley and her daughter Theresa Beisley died previously.
Survivors include two daughters; Kathleen Eversen of Blairstown and Carole Lamken of Boise, ID. A son; Richard G. Beisley of Tacoma, WA; two sisters; Ann Kendall of Virginia Beach, VA, and Alma Beisley of Dumfries, VA; six grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, April 20, 2012 from 9:30 AM until service time at Mackey Funeral Home (mackeyfh.com) 107 Essex Ave., Boonton. The funeral service will be begin at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Contributions in Geraldine's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater NJ Chapter, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
