Aunt Ruth was always fun to visit with. When I was little, She would bring you kids to our back yard for a summer dip in the old galvanized tub. She thoroughly enjoyed the New Year's eve parties at my parents' house. I can still hear her coming thru the living room saying "Has your Uncle Chet come through here?"
Mom and I always enjoyed her impromptu visits at the Mews while she was still at home. She was a font of information; always busy but found time to stop by.
She always said that Chet was the love of her life. I believe that they are at peace together in heaven.
