BOONTON
Theresa Carter died on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at her residence in Boonton following a short illness. She was 77. Born in Hoboken she lived in Linden before coming to Boonton. She was a Senior Clerk/Typist for Newark City Hall before retiring in 1990. She was a member of the First Reformed Church in Boonton and a member of their woman's guild.
Survivors include her son; Melvin Carter of Willingboro; two daughters: Theresa Kayhart of Boonton and Valerie Green of Willingboro; three grandchildren and one great grandson.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, January 27 from 9:30 AM until service time at the First Reformed Church 236 Washington St., Boonton. The funeral service will be begin at 11:30 AM. interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Boonton. Arrangements are by Mackey Funeral Home (Mackeyfh.com) 107 Essex Ave., Boonton
